Thing is: I'm seriously considering going out and buying Pandora Hearts now that its published in the US (sadly by Yenpress, but I digress...). I know most everyone is all like "OMG PANDORA ♥S IS LEIK SOOO AWSUMMM" (forgive my girly texting sterotype) and I've gotten good reviews from friends, but I'm just not sure. I guess I'll just read a chapter or so online to see? Anyway, leave your opinion. Please. I beg you.

(By the way, I dislike Yen Press mainly because of their price: Their manga usually costs $10.99, but the books are pretty thin. I can see paying that much for Maximum Ride - that book is pretty huge, but I saw Hero Tales and it was puny and cost the same? WTH? I mean, the quality of the actual manga is good, quite unlike Del Rey who charges the same for pretty low-quality translations of all my favorite series [*sigh*], but still.)

Anyway, you can stop reading now. The rest is just ranting to get it all outta my system. but hey, If you wanna laugh at it, go right ahead, my friend.

Next. If it were me, I would put out manga when its supposed to be put out. A new Mia Ikumi title is *supposed* to be available today, but my bookstore (the one of the two that usually does not fail me is this regard) did not have it. (Fiddlesticks.) I'm aware that Most books are not going to be availabe at one's particular store on the exact day the website says it will be released, and maybe I'm just impatient, but if your going t post on your official website the release of a book by a certain 14-year-old's favorite mangaka two months in advance, I think you have time to send the book out to stores early. Curse you, Del Rey Manga. For this and much more.

Like for making me pay exactly $10.72, after tax and after my member's discount, for all my favorite seires even though you screw them up! I mean, Kitchen Princess, Kamichama Karin (chu), Tsubasa, Shugo Chara, and now Only One Wish! Why must you torture me so?! Why must you translate them ickyly (Amu Hinamori quote: "Just.. just go anywhere!" Really? Why not "Just get out of here!" Sigh), and then *accidentally* switching the words in two different character's speech bubbles? Seriously. Theres this magical thing called DOUBLE-CHECKING. You should really try it. Or triple-check. OR QUADRUPLE-CHECK. PLEASE. I beg you. Make the book worth my $10.72.

Why, Yen, why oh why are you publishing a graphic novel adaptation of TWILIGHT?! DO YOU HATE ME?! Because, after all, manga ultimately ends up as anime, and thats ONE THING WE DONT NEED! Our nation's young adult book sections are already overrun with worthless vampire crap, PLEASE do not contaminate our manga and anime! ITS ALL I HAVE LEFT, goshdarnit. All I have left. After all, Its becoming increasingly difficult to find new good book series that isnt about vampires (or, if it is, one thats any good), so please dont make me dread going into the manga section, too. Oh, yes, Im aware of Vampire Knight's popularity, but I am fairly certain tha was written long before good ol Stephanie decided to write that abominati- I mean awful book.

Apparently my dad bought a new mouse for our computer for Christmas. It clicks really obnoxiously. The old one just went *click* and this one goes *CLIIICK*. plus, its really... erratic? I guess thats the word. You just barely flick your wrist accidentally and suddenly the cursor is thre-fourths way accross the screen. Gee, thanks dad. ( I MISS THE OLD MOUSE! :sobs: )

And Christmas breaks almost over! NOOO! I dont wanna go back! Dear God, please let this week go by reeeeeeal slow... please? Ive been a good girl this year! Wait, I should save that line for Santa next year. ;D

So apparently I price my art on Gaia rediculously low? This one guys like, "Yeah I'll take your art, I didnt see what you charged though", and then the next day, after apparently checking my prices, said "HELL YEAH I WANT YOUR ART! Gimme a chibi." o_0 Well then. I guess every bit counts?....

Anyway, only one week of school before the BLESSED FREEDOM that is Christmas break! XD *bounces off walls* I cannot wait. |D But watch it go by reeeeeal slowlike, as is my usual luck. (And I really hope i did not just jinx it.)

In January, a book by my favorite author comes out in paperback version, and I have to say the cover is... not quite hideous, but rather unappealing (to me, anyway.) Whats funny is I've been wanting to buy the book since it came out in hardback, but being the poor fourteen year old I am, I wanted to get it in paperback since the hardcover is about sixteen bucks and I'm lucky to have five at any given time. I found out the paperback was coming out in January and I'm pretty much like "OH YEAH *dances randomly*"....
And then I saw the cover, when it was released a while ago. *dancing ceased and replacted with mute shock* Therefor, when I was going to the mall with friends and my mother gave me a twenty ("I better get back some change, you young whippersnapper!" was surely running through her head) I hastily bought the hardcover, rather against my standards. I mean, the #1 Book Buying Rule of the Kori is "Only buy hardcover in DIRE CIRCUMSTANCES." Trust me, if you were me (which I readily assume your not) This is a very dire circumstance.
Well, I say this because knowing me, I'll end up buying the paperback in the future (unlikely but possible) just for the sake of being a collector. I mean, I had the four books in the DoS series, then bought the omnibus. (...yeah I know) I guess I'm stupid that way.

Another thing about omnibuses: If you have a fancy name for a certain something, wouldnt you use that as the title of the series about said something instead of the titel being what it actually is? Okay I know that sounds very confusing. For example (I usually dont release the names of books for strange personal reasons but): If you have a series about shapeshifters where the shapeshifters are calle the Kiesha'ra, and they live in the world of the Den of Shadows series, to me it makes more sense to make the title "The Kiesha'ra: The shapeshifters of the Den of Shadows". I mean, right? That way the subtitle kinda explains the title. But the title for said omnibus is going to be vice versa, "The Shapeshifters: The Keisha'ra..." blah blah blah. To me, anyway, that makes no sense. But I digress, cuz I want that darn omnibus. (Its gonna be 900+ pages for goodness sake. *heaven*)
But enough about that.

Okay is it just me, or is it like "National Show-Off-the-fact-you-have-a-girlfriend/boyfriend Month"? I mean, Really?! It seems all of a sudden every corner you turn in school there's a couple hugging or kissing or making faces at each other like they wanna make kids or something. I mean, it sickens me. Usually I dont care that I am boyfriend-less (single and proud, thank you) but its like everyone is rubbing it in my face. *wants to strngle the happy couples* But maybe I'm just stressed cuz school's not out yet.

...okay, I just read a halarious anti-twilight comic. *braces for rabid fangirl attack* I start laughing just thinking about it. Must seem weird to other people when I start giggling for no reason...

Well, i dont want this post to end up like "Snow, shots, and a LOT more (No exxageration!)", and yes I know I spelled exageration wrong, but I shalt depart for now, especially becuase my dad is telling me to go get a shower and is currently standing over me looking at what Im writing.

Although Im not sure I can keep it up (assuming I ever get customers) because of school. I'm currently suffering from PROJECT OVERLOAD. A condition so horrible it must be typed in all caps. Thats right. PROJECT OVERLOAD is very very horrid. Its when your techers decide to dump projects on you all at the same time. So you have PROJECT OVERLOAD and thus cannot do any one of them very well. Thanks a lot, teach(s). PROJECT OVERLOAD! (I bet your sick of me saying PROJECT OVERLOAD so much, eh?)

I wanna go to the book fair tomorrow after school to see what they have. But I have to finish a test after school tomorrow, because I left 7th period early to go to the doctor (you know, for that ear infection I talked about earlier) and only finished half a test (an easy one, but still). The bookfair is only open from 8 to three thirty (school starts at seven thirty and ends at 2), and unless my English teacher takes us (unlikely) I'd have to wait until after school. OH WAIT. I have to finish a stupid test goshdarnit.

So I SHOULD get off the computer and do that travel brochure for geography, finish my "driving with cell phones" paper for English, and begin the family tree for heath, ALL DUE THIS WEEK OR NEXT....

But I wont, cuz Im a horrible procrastinator.
